mh css2switch component
css2switch allows to link different stylesheets (css files) to any published menu item. This allows you to give each page of your website a different look. The connection between a stylesheet and a menu item may be handled down automatically to all included subitems.
You may also connect different stylesheets to each existing menu (menuname).
The mh css2switch package contains a component for administration and configuration, and also a required system plugin.
- css2switch Basic Joomla 2.5 and newer (free of cost, GNU/GPL licensed)
The Basic Edition limits the attribution of individually style sheets to the first and second menu levels.
The Basis Edition can only load similiar css files for guests and for logged in users.
Newly created menu elements must be once loaded and stored manually in the css2switch Basic components backend, until inheritance rules be applied to them.
- css2switch Enterprise Joomla! 2.5 and newer (14,99 € Subscription for one year, user agreement)
This commercial licensed version allows you to manage your css-files more easily by providing extra features.
The Enterprise edition supports the attribution to an unlimited number of menu levels.
The Enterprise edition can load different css files for guests or for logged in users.
The Enterprise edition uses the configurable inheritance rules automatically to newly created menu elements.
The commercially licensed Enterprise edition supports the allocation of an additional css file on each menu level. In this way differentiated design spaces can be created with little effort.
